Life is a Grey Area
It was a mellow evening, nothing much going on when a friend invites me over to his place for a chat and it turned out to be the most insightful evening. We talked about lots of things but what really stuck with me is: Life is a Grey area.
“How?” I’m glad you asked. Here’s why. Picture this scenario, you have been born into a world where all you know is darkness. There is no form of light anywhere. Your whole life’s definition and ultimate choices will be made from a point of darkness up until you get exposed to someone or something from the light. And suddenly things change. Your perspective to life changes, your goals change, your thought process changes. You become more aware of this light.

And the converse holds true.
As humans, we are exposed to either side of the divide – light or darkness, good or evil, up or down, left or right. We however have the ability to choose.
How we live our lives is a result of the choices we make – a choice to lean on either side. Until you choose which side to lean on, which ideals to hold on to, and passionately pursue, your life is primarily in the grey area.
If you decide that it’s a bad thing to worship GOD, then choose a god you’d rather serve – and do it today. (Joshua 24:15 MSG)
