TO KALIGRAPH JONES: Message from Mafan

Social media was ablaze following Shiko’s interview of Papa Jones. Case in point being the guy just turned light ki Vera Sidika. The bleaching part was not the highlight of the story but the explanation Kaligraph gave for his skin color change.

Ati it’s because he now drinks clean water. Really Kaligraph! Really!

Before and After drinking clean water

He has released the song “Toa Tint” claiming that he doesn’t give a f**k what society thinks about his recent escapades as long as he is getting paper.

For a long time, I thought beauty was an issue concerning women in the African society until Kaligraph came along. Does this mean that he has been insecure about his color all along or he thinks he is going to be the African Eminem. The African Eminem should be black yo!

Not that I dispute that his lines are dope but I had put him on a higher ground which will not be the case anymore. Despite the fact that every man has the liberty to do whatever he wants, when you rise to some level in society, your decisions are no longer yours since you influence a lot of people. Now kids are going to start bleaching all over the place following their star.

Kaligraph, I expected more from you as a fan. Kill the world with your rap not your beauty.  Sincerely, we really don’t care if you are black or white, words don’t have color.

So do yourself justice and go back to drinking the dirty water that made you who you are, otherwise be a socialite and quit rap.

Lest I forget, did you hit on bloggers just to get traction? Since you wanted us to write, read and get enlightened my friend and I don’t mean in color.
